ROUTINE MILITARY EXERCISE ENDS WITH 12 MARINES AND 2 HELICOPTERS MISSING

The search for the 12 United States Marines who went missing after two CH-53 heavy-lift helicopters in which they was aboard crashed off the coast of Hawaii's Oahu late Thursday night;

Sources tell us that the search efforts for the two heavy-lift helicopters and the 12 men aboard continue to be hampered by a high-surf warning. The united States Coast Guard has teamed together with U.S. Marine Corps to search the entire ocean where the two helicopters and 12 marines went missing; Reports made by the U.S Coast Guards stated that, Officials have located the debris of three out four lifesaving rafts in which was aboard the two helicopter however the rafts that was discovered by officials have been said to been shredded and no further communications or observations have been made with either the missing marines or their helicopter in which they was aboard.

Officials stated their search efforts will be continuous until all of the marines along with the two CH-53 heavy-lift helicopters are recovered. Officials stated that their search and rescue mission was battled with waves up to 30 feet Saturday, which dispersed debris and complicated the search.

"It makes finding things incredibly difficult," Coast Guard spokesman Lt. Scott Carr said.

Initial reports from the Coast Guard indicated that the helicopters had collided during a routine training excercise, but Marine officials say the incident remains under investigation.

Officials stated The Marines and the aircraft are assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 based out of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.

The United States Military released the names of the 12 marines on Monday and while releasing their names, During the conference officials stated they will not give up on this search and rescue mission until all involved are recovered and they are able to retrieve the downed helicopter in which collided during this training exercise.

The names of all 12 Marines that went missing Thursday have been released and are as followed:

— Capt. Brian T. Kennedy, 31, Philadelphia

— Capt. Kevin T. Roche, 30, St. Louis

— Capt. Steven R. Torbert, 29, Florence, Alabama.

— Sgt. Dillon J. Semolina, 24,Chaska, Minnesota.

— Sgt. Adam C. Schoeller, 25, Gardners, Pennsylvania.

— Sgt. Jeffrey A. Sempler, 22, Woodruff, South Carolina.

— Sgt. William J. Turner, 25, Florala, Alabama.

— Cpl. Matthew R. Drown, 23, Spring, Texas.

— Cpl. Thomas J. Jardas, 22, Fort Myers, Florida.

— Cpl. Christopher J. Orlando, 23, Hingham, Massachusetts.

— Lance Cpl. Ty L. Hart, 21, Aumsville, Oregon.
