CAMDEN CO. PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE SEEKING INFORMATION INTO DEATH OF 8 YEAR OLD

As the streets of Camden, NJ have became worse over the years with the increase in violence, crimes and murders now the violence on the streets has taken the life Gabrielle Hill Carter, 8 year old, was shot and killed in Camden on Wednesday August 24, 2016 while outside playing with friends.

Police were dispatched out to the scene on the 800 block of South 8th street Wednesday Evening for reports of shots fired upon officers responding on the scene Officer found an 8 year old child lying on the side walk with a gun shot wound to her head, emergency management officials immediately transported 8 year old Gabrielle to Cooper University Hospital where she was reported to be in critical condition, A few days later Gabrielle Hill Carter loss her life due to the severity of the gun shot wound to her head, Now Police have stepped up their investigation in an attempt to find the suspect responsible for shooting off numerous of shots that evening that struck and killed Gabrielle.
The Camden County Prosecutors office have offered a $50,000 reward leading to information and the apprehension of the suspect responsible for the death of 8 year old Gabrielle Hill Carter, Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or the incident is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Sherman Hopkins at (856) 225-8623 or Camden County Police Department Detective Michael Ross at (856) 757-7420.
