New Jersey’s Governor, Gov. Chris Christie returned back to his governing state of New Jersey last Friday evening after making a decision to leave his presidential campaign trail in New Hampshire to return to the state prior to the arrival of Blizzard 2016;

The governor of New Jersey who was in office during superstorm “Sandy” had received federal funding in order to rebuild the storm stricken towns of the Jersey Shores where over two dozen of families were displaced after their homes had been destroyed or completely washed away, The governor who received and promised to provide residences and business owner’s with federal funding had failed to properly disperse the funding to residence, now the residence are three (3) years post sandy and most of the families and individuals who endured such loss are still without funding and/or shelter and have been forced to either be homeless or stay with family however that’s not including business owners who have loss significant amounts of money due to having to repair or totally rebuild their infrastructures in which their businesses were housed in, after enduring such losses some business owners were forced to completely shut down or relocate their business.

Now families and business owners are furious again after the blizzard that borrowed down on the east coast caused significant amounts of damage once again to their homes and/or businesses, The governor was suppose to use post sandy funding to help rebuild Jersey Shore homes, business and build dunes in which would be used as a preventative in case another superstorm struck, however residences strongly feel the governors plan failed and now the residence who reside in or around the coastline are furious after their homes and properties received flooding and enormous amounts of damage from the oceans over flooding of water onto the streets and into the properties of residence and business owners.

Gov. Chris Christie is now under fire not just by his colleagues and associates as well as from his constituents of the State of New Jersey, The governor of New Jersey gave a winter storm press conference on Saturday, January 23, 2016; During the governors press conference he was quoted as say

“So you know we really need to get moving on these dunes projects it's 3 years post Sandy, this should not be held up by what I really believe are a few very selfish homeowners who do not want to give into the idea that we have to build these dunes by using the fake excuse that somehow I want to build a boardwalk or a ferris wheel or a hot dog stand or public bathrooms on the strip of land that we're taking. It's a ridiculous idea, put forward by some selfish folks and their selfish lawyers who are just looking to make money off this.”

The governor who has been caught numerous of times displaying ignorance and dissatisfaction amongst his state and constituents has caused some up roar with-in the state; During the governors Saturday afternoon press conference the governor ended his speech by stating

“So I am going to down there look at this myself today. Not to Margate but to the Point Pleasant area as well to see exactly what we need to do to be able to speak to people in the public much more about this and to provide information to the court when this is ultimately litigated.”

Gov. Christie participated in a New Hampshire town hall meeting on Monday where the governor of New Jersey was questioned by attendees; Christie took a question from a woman who claimed she once attended school in Pennington, New Jersey. The woman asked on behalf of her family and friends at the shore, “Why are you here in New Hampshire campaigning instead of there, helping to survey the damages done by the coastal flooding from the storm?”

“Because it’s already done,” Christie replied. “It’s already done. Tell me why you think it isn’t.”

“All over the state?” Christie replied. “Really? There’s been one county that’s flooded in the state. That was Cape May County. So I don’t know where from all over the state, since we have 21 counties, where that’s happened. Second, I don’t know what you expect me to do. You want me to go down there with a mop?”

Christie told the woman that all roads in New Jersey were cleared, NJ Transit had returned to normal operations and workers helped any families who had flooding in their homes.

“No one needed to be evacuated,” Christie said. “People left voluntarily and went to see family and friends like we asked them to if they lost their power.

The governors statement was followed by his saying; “I heard one crazy mayor down in South Jersey say this is worse flooding than Sandy,” Christie said

“Here’s the one thing you need to know about that mayor. His town didn’t get hit by Sandy. So of course it’s worse than Sandy for him! He’s down in North Wildwood, which is south of Atlantic City, for those of you who do not have a masters in New Jersey geography as I do."

"He’s south of Atlantic City," Christie continued.

"The storm comes in on Atlantic City and the hurricane tail is whipping north. So if you’re south of where it came on Shore, you’re in good shape. So he makes the incredible statement, ‘It’s worse than Sandy!’ Well damn man, you didn’t get any flooding in Sandy! So if you got a foot of flooding it would be worse than Sandy.”

Christie then asked the woman for the names and numbers of all her family and friends in New Jersey, claiming he would call all of them personally to answer any of their questions.

After the governors New Hampshire town hall meeting residence there was left very displeased with the governor’s comments and the matter in which the governor has been handling such catastrophic events. Residences are still displaced and dealing with significant amount of property damage which many do not have the finances to rebuild or relocate.

Residences have displayed concern that the governor is more focused on his media presence and his presidential election ratings than he is with his home state and states constituents.

The governor will remain in New Hampshire until his campaign leads him to another state where he will continue to be absent from his home state and absent from his constituents.
